Let's get away from depressing posts shall we? But then again, exam results are always depressing, so no one can blame me for that...
Remember me saying I screwed up the ISAC interview? Well, I sort of did. lols.. As in, I applied for Sec-Gen and Deputy Sec-Gen. I didn't get it but hey, I'm actually happy! =) Those posts went to much more deserving people ---> Jia Yi and Anthea. =D Clara is Secretary, Events Directors 1 and 2 are Eustance and Zhi Ming. Corporate Relations is Jiawen and I'm the Head of Welfare. =) I'm totally much happier in this role, it has less responsibilities, which allows me to focus on my schoolwork more and God knows I need to be. I'm not exactly the most disciplined person in the whole wide world after all. And and this role allows me to merge my dream worlds of CSC and ISAC together!! I get to plan CIP for ISAC =D Me happy!! The seniors totally made a great decision in the choice of this year's new comm. I think we're all totally fitted to our roles and we're gonna do a great job! =))
Now that we've taken over, we've got to handle the handover ceremony and DUNMUN.. =)) I shan't say much here because the details are "supposed" to be secret.. LOLS.. We'll see how it goes. Oh and just a random point here, I was surprised at how many Tao Nan people are in the comm! like 5 out of 7 lor!! =D So cool, it's totally a Tao Nan reunion!! =)))
School hasn't been so bad so far, we've only been going through CT papers. I'm expecting it to pick up pace soon though. Oh, I got accepted for the Global Youth Forum, and I've decided to go for it, which means I'm gonna miss one week of school.. -.- From the 29th of July to the 3rd of August, which according to Sihui is just 4 school days! But as I kindly reminded her, we only have 5 school days a week, so thats 4 out of 5... Which frankly, is a lot.. lols.. SHe's a facilitator for the Forum which means I'll be missing school together with her.. =)) Hopefully when I come back I can catch up cos' promos are in 9 weeks time.. Just after September Hols.. EEK!!
Hahaha, on the bright side, that means when Alicia comes back, I'll have finished exams!! =)) Leaving me perfectly free to go out with her =D
